Social pedagogical field

Since August 1, 2005, the school's social-pedagogical program has been operated by the independent Technical Youth Leisure and Education Association (tjfbg) gGmbH. Numerous activities are available for children's meaningful leisure time. Spaces are available for students in grades 1-4. Students in grades 5 and 6 can also apply for supervision.

The social education department of the elementary school at the Brandenburg Gate sees itself as an institution that complements the school through:

Principles of our work:


The social pedagogy department, as part of the school, is omnipresent yet possesses a unique character. It sees itself as a reliable companion on children's life journey, providing necessary guidance and support through encouragement.

    Mondays for grades 1-2 from 2:30 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. Wednesdays for grades 3-4 from 2:30 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. Our extracurricular activities offer a diverse and supplementary form of learning, focusing on imparting solid and practical skills to our students. Our children have the opportunity to strengthen and, above all, develop their personalities more comprehensively. The following extracurricular activities are offered: Handball, Soccer, Basketball, Acrobatics, Yoga, Dance, Choir and Music, Recycling with Needle and Thread, Handmade Crafts, Embroidery, Iron-on Beads, Sewing Room, Chess, Media, Big Explorers, Conflict Resolution, Fire Safety, Girls' Club, Boys' Club
